Cellular processes are carried out by coordinated participation of many biomolecules in a tiny volume. We are developing new fluorescence microscopy techniques and imaging probes in order to directly visualize these structures and dynamic processes. In particular, we have been developing super-resolution microscopy techniques to dissect the architecture of centrosome and basal body – cilium transition zone. We are also developing CRISPR/Cas9-based methods to visualize the spatial organization of the genome.
