Peter B. Dervan Lecture

The Peter Dervan Lecture was established by his research group alumni at a reunion in 2016 to celebrate his 70th birthday. Dervan, the Bren Professor of Chemistry, pioneered studies directed toward understanding the chemical principles for the sequence specific recognition of DNA. The objective of the lectureship is to bring to campus distinguished scientists active at the interface of chemistry and biology.
