How X-ray absorption spectroscopy can help your research

The goal of this workshop is to discuss the basic concept of conventional X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) and site-specific XAS. Other advanced XAS techniques (such as X-ray fluorescence imaging and X-ray emission spectroscopy will also be briefly discussed. This workshop is designed for attendees from diverse research backgrounds with little or no knowledge of XAS.
Theory: 10 am - 12 pm. Practice 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
