Projection Systems
For all CCE lecture halls, please set PowerPoint and other presentation software to 4:3 page layout.

Projector Instructions
For best results, please set your screen resolution to either 1280 x 1024 or 800 x 600.
- Flip open the touch screen and touch the Caltech logo.
- Connect your computer. The proper connection name will appear on this screen:
- Select the source on the next screen. If you decide to change the input source, touch the "Home" screen.
- The projector warmup screen will start the countdown.
- The sound system will start with low or muted volume. Touch the "mute" symbol, then slide the volume up to raise it, if desired.
- Please shut down the projector when finished, by pressing the Shutdown button. The projector will shut down and go to cool mode while the screen retracts.

- Select the source. If you decide to change the input source, touch the "Home" screen. (The connections are on the left of the panel. DVD player is in the cabinet below, which requires a key.)
- The bottom strip includes the shutdown button, in addition to lighting choices for the room.
- The sound system will start with low or muted volume. Touch the "mute" symbol, then slide the volume up to raise it, if desired.
- Touch the "Choose Screen" button to continue. (For DVD player, please see picture of DVD screen below.)
- Next, please select "Center Screen" or "Side Screen."
- The screen behind you will lower and the projector warmup screen will start the countdown.
- The button of the screen you choose will turn blue and will show the input source (e.g. HDMI 1).
- If you decide to change the input source, touch the "Home" screen.
- Please shut down the projector when finished, by pressing the Shutdown button. The projector will shut down and go to cool mode while the screen retracts. (If you dimmed the lights, they will automatically return to "All On.")
DVD Player: If you selected VGA 2 / DVD, then DVD, you will see the screen with the DVD controls. Please shut down the system after viewing your DVD.
