South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) is recruiting for chemists. This is an opportunity to chart a new career and join the fight for better air quality in Southern California.
 
Assistant Air Quality Chemist - $5,046 to $6,249 per month
Air Quality Chemist - $6,061 to $7,506 per month
 
Located in Diamond Bar, AQMD is one of the largest, most technologically sophisticated environmental regulatory agencies in the nation.  New chemists are typically hired at the Assistant level, but become eligible for non-competitive promotion following successful performance for the required time.

Candidates are required to possess a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, preferably with an emphasis in qualitative and quantitative analysis.  AQMD is an excellent, long-term career choice, with outstanding working conditions, exceptional benefits, and a 4/10 work schedule!

The Research Grants Council in Hong Kong is launching a Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is actively recruiting outstanding students for this Scheme.
